Juliana K Atallah , MD
Juliana Atallah, MD is a board-certified radiologist specializing in breast imaging. She is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology at Keck School of Medicine of USC. She also serves as the Associate Program Director for the Breast Imaging Fellowship program. Dr. Atallah graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Canada where she earned her B.A & Sc. in Cognitive Science. She then received her medical degree from Albany Medical College in 2018, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) medical honor society.
After finishing an internship in Internal Medicine at Albany Medical Center, Dr. Atallah completed residency training in Diagnostic Radiology at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, during which she was active in promoting resident wellness. She then went on to complete a fellowship in Breast and Body Imaging at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Dr. Atallah is passionate about providing quality patient care. She interprets a variety of imaging studies, including mammography (2D, digital breast tomosynthesis, contrast-enhanced mammography), breast ultrasound and breast MRI. She performs image-guided procedures including ultrasound, stereotactic and MRI-guided biopsies, as well as pre-operative localizations as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Dr. Atallah is an active teacher and mentor of medical students, residents and fellows. Her research interests include breast MRI, contrast-enhanced mammography, and physician wellness.
